- Any search terms that brought you to the site via Google
We collect this information through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. See the Cookies section below for more detail.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site work properly and allow us to understand how people use it.
The cookies we use
Essential cookies These are needed for the site to function. They do not track you or collect personal information. You cannot opt out of these without the site breaking.
Analytics cookies We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people find us, and where they leave. This data is aggregated and anonymised wherever possible.
Google Analytics sets cookies that last between 24 hours and 2 years depending on the specific cookie. The data is processed by Google on our behalf. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Third-party booking cookies When you use our booking form or calendar tool, that tool (such as Calendly or a similar service) may set its own cookies. Those cookies are governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
Your cookie choices
- All browsers: You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will affect how the site works.
- Google Analytics specifically: You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Do Not Track: If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we respect it where technically possible.
If you are in the EU, UK, or a region where cookie consent is required by law, you will see a cookie notice when you first visit the site. You can update your preferences at any time.
Third-Party Services We Use
| Service | What it does | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Measures site traffic and behaviour | Link |
| Google Tag Manager | Manages analytics and tracking scripts | Link |
| Booking / calendar tool | Handles Gap Check bookings | Available on their site |
| Email service | Sends confirmation and follow-up emails | Available on their site |
We only work with services that have appropriate data protection standards. We do not allow third-party services to use your data for their own advertising purposes.
How Long We Keep Your Data
| Data | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Gap Check form submissions | Up to 2 years from the date of submission, or until you ask us to delete it |
| Email correspondence | Up to 3 years |
| Analytics data | Up to 26 months (Google Analytics default) |
| Cookie data | Varies by cookie — between 24 hours and 2 years |
After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.
